Scroll type dry vacuum pumps are dry vacuum pumps that exhaust air by combining the movements of a scroll-type stator and rotor.
They are used in a wide range of fields, including vacuum drying equipment, physicochemical analysis equipment, vacuum suction transport equipment, and vacuum heat treatment furnaces.
A scroll-type dry vacuum pump is constructed with two identical scrolls, each with a slightly offset center, so that the walls are in line contact with each other, and one of them oscillates relative to the other, creating a rubbing motion, causing the gas trapped in the crescent-shaped space to be compressed toward the center and discharged from the hole in the center. Normally, the compression process is designed to take place two or more times, resulting in low vibration and noise. Some pumps can reach a pressure of 1 Pa.
