Fundamentals of Vacuum Pumps (Low to Medium Vacuum)
Single-Stage Oil Rotary Vacuum Pump vs. Double-Stage
Single-Stage Oil Rotary Pump vs. Double-Stage, What is different?
Oil Rotary Pump has 2 types, Single-Stage and Double-Stage. Do you know What exactly they are?
Single-Stage | A pump has one pair of rotors, cylinders, and sliding blades. |
Double-Stage | A pump has two pairs of rotors, cylinders, and sliding blades in series. The compression ratio is larger, and that pressure is lower. |
Even triple or more stages type is not available to lessen pressure on the double-stage types due to the pipe resistance (or conductance) and the vapor pressure of vacuum pump oil.
