A vacuum gauge is a measuring instrument that measures the pressure lower than the pressure of the environment we live in - atmospheric pressure.

Vacuum gauges, along with vacuum pumps, are the basis of vacuum technology. There are multiple types with different measurement principles depending on the measurement range and application. When using a vacuum gauge, we have to select the appropriate one from among them.
