A screw type vacuum pump is a vacuum pump that introduces fluid into the gap between meshing screw rotors inside a casing and continuously moves the fluid in the axial direction by rotating the rotors.
In a screw type dry vacuum pump, two parallel screw rotors rotate while maintaining a small gap between the inner wall of the casing and between the rotors themselves, and the space formed between the rotors and the casing is continuously moved in the axial direction. Gas is sucked into this space from the intake port, and is exhausted by compressing and transporting it in the process of being sent to the exhaust side.
